Underwater Digital Photography

Many of you may already have a digital camera system and a proper underwater housing. As such, it’s likely you are asking yourself how to take better pictures. The SDI Underwater Photographer Diver Course is designed to introduce divers to the equipment, techniques and procedures necessary to take underwater photographs, and allow the student to experience and discuss many areas of interest to the underwater photographer.

The Underwater Digital Photography Program can be learned in the pool/confined water or directly in the open water. This makes this a perfect “winter specialty” which can be done just before your diving holiday starts.

Course prerequisites:

• SDI Open Water Scuba Diver, SDI Junior Open Water Diver, or equivalent
• Minimum age 18, 10 with parental consent

SDI Underwater Photo Diver minimum requirements:

• Complete all open water requirements efficiently
• Demonstrate mature and sound judgment concerning dive planning and execution
